A $15,000 investment in great futures!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi extends a heartfelt thank you to General Motors along with UAW International Union for their generous $15,000 investment in our STEM program.

This support helps us continue creating opportunities for Club members to explore science, technology, engineering and math while developing skills, discovering new interests and seeing new possibilities for their futures.

As we celebrate 90 years of impact, investments like this help ensure that our legacy of serving young people continues for generations to come.

We are grateful to General Motors and the UAW for investing in our youth and helping us continue to build great futures through STEM.

Tomorrow, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi will once again open its doors to serve our community through Feeding Futures.

This month’s distribution will feature household supplies to help meet the everyday needs of individuals and families.

Blues by Starlight 2026 is officially here!

The countdown is officially on!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi invites you to join us Thursday, October 15, 2026, for Blues by Starlight, a signature event of our 90th Anniversary Celebration.

This year, we’re bringing the blues back On the Green at the Mississippi Museum of Art with Willie Clayton, along with Bralon & the Guys and Hunter & the Gators, music by DJ Finesse, and hosts Kayla Thompson & Kinoy Brown.

Enjoy live blues, a culinary experience, and a silent auction, all while supporting programs and opportunities for young people across Central Mississippi.

As another BGCCM Summer Camp comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a season filled with learning, growth, friendships, and memories our Club kids will carry with them.

We wrapped up camp with a bang yesterday during our exciting Fun Day, celebrating an amazing summer together. Then today, we closed out the week by giving back through our Feeding Futures Community Food Distribution, showing our youth the importance of serving and supporting others.

A special thank you to Union Mortgage and General Motors for helping our Club kids get ready for the new school year with generous donations of backpacks and school supplies. Your support helps ensure our members are equipped for a successful start.

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, community partners, and families for making this summer possible. As we look ahead to a new school year, we’re excited to continue helping young people learn, lead, and achieve great futures.

Today was about more than recognition. It was about opportunity.

Today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi celebrated students whose hard work, determination, and dreams are opening doors to bright futures.

We honored our 2026 graduates, awarded scholarships that will help remove barriers to higher education, and celebrated the inaugural graduates of the BGCCM Nurse Assistant Program during a meaningful White Coat and Pinning Ceremony.

This milestone was made possible through the partnership and support of Access Training Inc. and The Women's Foundation of Mississippi, whose investment is helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

We are also deeply grateful to Dr. Vibha Vig and the Former Boys Club Alumni for investing directly in the futures of our young people through scholarship support.

Every certificate presented, every white coat placed, every scholarship awarded, and every encouraging word shared today was a reminder that when a community believes in its youth, great things happen.

Today we celebrated achievement.

Tomorrow, these young people will continue building their futures.

Summer camp may be ending in two days… but these futures are just getting started.

Today, we’re celebrating more than the close of an incredible summer—we’re celebrating the bright futures of the young people who make Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi so special.

Join us as we honor our 2026 BE GREAT Seniors, award scholarships, and celebrate our Healthcare Heroes—the inaugural graduates of the BGCCM Nurse Assistant Program, made possible through our partnerships with Access Training, Inc. and The Women’s Foundation of Mississippi.

Today is a reminder that every lesson learned, every opportunity provided, and every investment in our youth is helping build the leaders, caregivers, and changemakers of tomorrow.

One week away!

As we continue celebrating 90 Years of Impact, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi remains committed to serving youth, families, and our community.

The next Feeding Futures Community Food Distribution is just ONE WEEK AWAY.

Last month, 300 families received food through Feeding Futures, helping provide meals for more than 1,200 individuals across Central Mississippi. We're honored to continue this effort and invite individuals and families to join us for our next distribution.

Real change begins with meaningful conversation.

One of the highlights of our Safe Streets, Strong Teens Youth Town Hall was hearing from Miss Jackson State University, Kylah Young, who encouraged our young people to use their voices, lead with purpose, and recognize the impact they can have in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities.

Her message, along with the insight shared by our panelists, reinforced the importance of creating spaces where young people are seen, heard, and empowered.

Thank you to every panelist who gave their time, shared their experiences, and invested in the future of Mississippi's youth.

When adults listen and young people speak, everyone grows.
