Please join us for our Women's Health Research Seminar next Monday! Dr. Ida Llewellyn-Smith will discuss “Changes in uterine innervation during pregnancy and post-partum in the rat”. Her seminar will be July 21, 2014 in 6A at 4pm. All students, faculty and staff are invited. Coffee and cold drinks will be served.
Please attend our physiology and women's health research seminar on Wednesday, June 25th from 12:00-1pm, in CW 308 featuring Dr. Marjorie Jenkins. Dr. Jenkins is the Associate Dean of Women in Health and Science at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and will be presenting, "Y Does X Make A Difference". Discovery U, from the School of Graduate Studies at University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), will host an interactive, hands on event at the Mississippi Children’ Museum on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Children and their families will have the opportunity to discover the exciting world of biomedical science during Discovery U Day!
During the event, children will go on a very berry DNA hunt, discover different medical materials, learn how nerves send signals and explore medicines that settle stomachs.
