Everything is more fun with a friend - or your daughter, granddaughter, niece, or Mom!

I'm offering a very special Summer Buddy Sewing Escape - just $325 for TWO people (regularly $375) - available in July and August only!

Escape to my Sunroom Sewing Studio for a Friday evening (6:30-9pm) + Saturday (10am-5pm) - 8.5 hours of hands-on learning, creating, and making memories together.

WHO: Mom + child (age 10+), Grandma + grandchild, two adult friends, sisters - any two people who want to learn and create together!
SKILL LEVEL: Complete beginners to experienced sewists - both of you, or just one. We work at YOUR level.
YOU CHOOSE your project - garments, gifts, upcycling something you already own, mending/altering, home décor. We plan ahead so you come prepared!

My studio provides machines, cutting areas, pressing equipment, tools, and my 54 years of master seamstress expertise - all yours for the weekend.

If you are in Jackson, TN area - YOU are invited to this in-person event. If not, perhaps this is an idea you could start. OR - look to see if there is an American Sewing Guiid in your area... those are great groups of gals as well.

Friends! The Jackson TN Sewing Guild is coming back to life - and I would LOVE to see YOU there! We'll gather the last Tuesday of each month, 9am-noon at my Sunroom Sewing Studio, 167 Whitfield Drive, Jackson TN.

Our first gathering is Tuesday June 30! I have a rack of curated thrift store goodies (J Jill, Chicos, etc) you can pick from for FREE. AND, the garments that you can see at www.londas-sewing.com/londaoriginals that are left at that time will be 'adoptable' for just a $15 donation that will go to Tunnel 2 Towers and St. Jude. If you want to shop in person before 6/30 - just give me a call at 21-369-4687.

Bring something you've made lately to share - or even something that is causing you problems. No dues. Just sewing and sharing.

Every one of these patriotic tops is one of a kind, sewn by me right here in my Jackson, TN studio. I take cherished garments and upcycled finds and turn them into wearable art you will not see on anyone else.

With America's 250th almost here, I would rather see these out celebrating than hanging in my studio. So I am offering them up for adoption: $25 donation each plus actual shipping. Every dollar of proceeds goes to Tunnel to Towers and St. Jude.
