Mississippi is helping lead the way in strengthening higher education opportunities for incarcerated students. 🎓A new report from Ithaka S+R highlights the state’s growing higher education in prison ecosystem and the importance of building stronger data systems to support student success, accountability, and long-term impact.
Through collaboration with the Mississippi Consortium for Higher Education in Prison (MCHEP), stakeholders are working to create shared metrics, improve reporting processes, and expand access to quality postsecondary education.📈
This work reflects the power of partnership and the belief that education can create pathways to opportunity for all learners.
