WAIT… ANOTHER BREAK ALREADY?! 😄

We just came back from summer break, made it through about two weeks of school, and now we’re on break again. Hooray!

Parents, don’t sweat it—this break is MUCH shorter.

David’s Star Lutheran School will be CLOSED Friday, September 4, for Labor Day weekend.

Enjoy the long weekend, T-Bolts! We’ll see everyone back in class on Tuesday, September 8.

🌮 TACO ’BOUT A SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISER! ⭐

What a great day at the Cedarburg Farmer's Market! Thanks to your support, our Shining Stars raised around $560 from today’s Walking Taco fundraiser!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to support our girls, and to the Shining Stars and parents who helped serve and kept those tacos walking!

Special thanks to our Program Coordinator, Mrs. Schreiber, for organizing the fundraiser, and to the Cedarburg Farmers Market for welcoming us back year after year. We’re grateful to be part of this wonderful community tradition!

Great food, great support, and a great day for our Shining Stars!

❤️🤍 BACK TO SCHOOL, BACK TOGETHER! ⚡

What a wonderful way to kick off another school year at David’s Star!

Our Back-to-School Picnic brought our school family together for an afternoon of food, conversation, laughter, and reconnecting. In the middle of busy work schedules, practices, activities, and everything that comes with the start of a new school year, we are especially grateful to all the parents and grandparents who made time to join us.

Events like this are about much more than sharing a meal. They give us one of the best opportunities to welcome and get to know our new families, while catching up with the familiar faces we’ve missed over the summer. It’s these moments together that help turn a school into a community.

And a HUGE thank-you to our amazing staff, who served up a storm as the food line seemed to have no beginning and absolutely no end! You kept the plates full, the line moving, and everyone well fed!

To our new families—welcome to the David’s Star family! And to our returning families—it’s so good to have you back.

Here’s to a new school year of learning, growing, serving, and doing it all together.
