Six Words Live returns to Manny’s (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/six-word-live-presents-stories-of-building-change-from-the-ground-up-tickets-1992598042384?aff=oddtdtcreator&keep_tld=true) in San Francisco on August 22 with Movement Building: Stories of Change from the Ground Up.

Here’s how it works: Pre-selected storytellers each begin with a Six-Word Memoir, then reveal the story behind it in about six minutes.

Our storytellers include
Taylor Andrews (Burning Man)
Jack Boulware (co-founder of Litquake),
Kimberly Bryant (founder, Black Girls CODE),
Makenzie Darling (founder, Movement Maker),
Megan Rohrer (first openly transgender minister in the Lutheran Church),
Larry Norris (co-founder, Decriminalize Nature), Alberto Sanchez (Ever Forward Club),
Ajantha Suriyanarayanan (Melo by Mental Load) and Manny Yekutiel (founder, Manny’s and civic advocate).

And, as always, we’ll invite one bold soul from the audience to step up for our signature pop-up story. Expect an evening of stories that range from the personal to the political, from quiet acts of courage to world-changing ideas.

We’re looking for people with skills and experience in areas like graphic design, fundraising, research, and grassroots organizing to join our national team.
