Привет всем!

After a very long deliberation, we decided to archive this group.
As it was intended in the beginning, this group was created to help my daughter and members of this group to learn Russian language at your own pace and free of charge.

Please accept our apologies for archiving the group as it was a great experience and pleasure for us to share with you. Due to lack of time we have to say goodbye.

Hope you still will continue and pursue learning Russian language to perfection.

The content of the group will still be available to existing members after archiving.

Alena did earn a Gold Medal in Bi-Literacy, language Russian.

Best wishes to all!!!

WHAT ARE YOU HAVING FOR DINNER? 😋

Alena came up to me to ask what are we having for dinner.
Then she realized that she doesn't know how to say the word “dinner” in Russian 🇷🇺.

We began cutting up 🤣 and this is what came out of it.

Notice how we can get completely different words just by changing one or two letters. 😊😃🤓

Short greeting:

1. Choose formal or informal version of greeting.
I chose an informal here - Привет!

2. Ask the other party about how he/she is doing - Как дела?

3. Tell them your name - Меня зовут Наталья.

3. Ask what is their name - А тебя? (informal)

If you have trouble with rolling letter Р (that is R in Russian), try working the sounds through tongue 😛 twisters.

Today we were getting a grip on this sound through a short twister about yard, grass and firewood.
