Here is a little history about the hotel where you will be staying. We think its pretty neat!
Happy Monday Fans!! Did you know that during the recent remodel of the hotel secret rooms were discovered! These rooms were created during the original construction of the hotel and were needed during the prohibition period!

The time is quickly approaching, Scholars! Here is some amateur video of JSU's famous marching band THE Sonic Boom of the South. No other like us! They are playing Get Ready by the Temptations. Its our favorite spirit tune to warn the other team to "Get Ready cause here we come!" JSU enters the battle of the bands 2010 Jackson State Sonic Boom of the South at the battle of the bands 2010
Hello Fellows! We would like to recommend that you bring your traditional attire if you have any. Also, any artifacts from your home country that you would like to share with your host school. This is so that you can represent your country during your school's International Week or other international events that they may have.
For our vegetarian scholars the meal option includes pasta grilled vegetables and olive oil. Let me know if that's you!
Great news scholars! A vegetarian option is available but we need to know how many plates we need. Please send in your choice of fish, chicken cordon blue (wrapped in ham), or vegetarian.
Don't forget to send in your choice for the Farewell Dinner! I am checking on options for our vegetarian fellows too!
So you haven't made it here yet but we are already planning your Farewell Dinner...but only because we want it to be AWESOME! Our options are Tilapia fish (oven roasted with tomato, okra and corn ragout) and Chicken Cordon Blue en Croute (wrapped in HAM and swiss cheese and encased in puff pastry then baked and napped in hollandaise sauce). Yummy! Send me a message or comment about what option you will like on that night. Spread the word!
