Kieryn Freeman of Fort Worth, TX is graduating with a BFA in Dance and Creative Writing. Her favorite part of being in the dance department these past five years has been the wonderful community of people who love one another so well. After graduating, Kieryn is excited to marry her best friend Danny and move to TX! In reflecting on her dance journey at Belhaven, she says, “As a freshman, I spent way too much time trying to dance the way I thought everyone else wanted me to. In the process, I kind of lost my excitement and passion for it. But once I figured out what I actually enjoyed about dance, I let go of those expectations and started fully leaning into what made me love dance again.”
