Jackson Catholic Middle School

Well it has arrived--the last day of school for 2014-15! It seems like just yesterday we were all anxious to get started and finding our way around our new digs over here on Spring Arbor Road. It has been a great year thanks mostly due to the great faculty and staff and students, but also the wonderful support from our families and friends.

Thank you to everyone who has ever been a part of the Jackson Catholic Middle School family, our name may be changing but just like in the sacrament of marriage we are Better Together!

May God bless you and keep you, may the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Darth is shaking his head: How can it be the end of the school year already?!? Tuesday, 8th grade will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. and are reminded to be at Our Lady of Fatima for our advancement mass by 6:45 p.m.

Remember tomorrow (Friday) is a big day around JCMS! The 8th graders will be busy all morning with Art Day activities (tie-dye, friendship bracelets, etc.) then we will all enjoy the Bone Island Grille Caribbean Cruiser for lunch (thank you PTO!!!). At 2 p.m. we will hold our Annual Honors Assembly in the cafeteria.

Our middle school hall is going to be QUIET today--8th Grade on Retreat at St. Rita's and 7th Grade going to Binder Park Zoo. Darth says have fun everyone!

The 8th Grade Finale Program starts tomorrow. Don't forget your towel! Wednesday, we will Retreat to St. Rita's; Thursday we hit the alleys at Airport Lanes--don't forget to wear socks; and Friday we finish off the week with Art Day in the morning, enjoy the Bone Island Cruiser for lunch and round it all out with Honors Assembly in the afternoon.

Seventh grader, Ellery K. "wished" her "Make-a-Wish Spring Raffle" prize for the famous Lumen Christi cookies for all of the 7th grade. As you can see they all enjoyed them!

Darth is all excited!!!! The weather looks like it is going to turn out to be a great evening for the Annual Athletic Awards and picnic on the patio. Come one, come all athletes and your families, everyone is welcome at the picnic followed by the awards -- everyone will be honored. What a great way to celebrate another super year of JCMS Athletics! Darth says: "See you there....."
