1/8 size cello ($30 deposit; $15 per month)

1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 sized violins ($20 deposit; $10 per month).

Do not have to be taking lessons with the Academy of Arts to rent.

We are thankful to have Tammy as a member of the FBJ Orchestra and an instructor in the AoA.

For Tammy Luke, music has always been about connection. 🎻 Inspired by her mother, who filled their home with everything from opera to fiddle music, Tammy has spent decades sharing that love through the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, private lessons, church performances, and teaching students at Wells APAC.

One of her favorite MSO memories was performing with fiddler Mark O'Connor, who stayed to mentor young musicians from across the South. Whether she's introducing students to music, geocaching with her dogs, or preparing for a concert by arriving early to take it all in, Tammy brings warmth and dedication to everything she does.

"Music is full of emotions and can reflect what you feel."

We're grateful to have Tammy as part of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra family.

Joining the Academy of Arts in September is Leslie Barksdale. Leslie will be teaching Classical and Contemporary Voice in her home studio in Clinton and here at FBJ. She is new to Clinton having moved here with her family recently from New Orleans.

Want to try Orchestra! Summer is a great way to check it out!

Summer Orchestra Players!

We are looking for some extra players for May and June. We have a particular need for strings, horn, clarinet BUT will welcome others.

Middle and high school students with at least 2 years playing experience will be considered for summer.

We rehearse on Wednesdays at 6 and then meet at 8:15 Sunday mornings and play in the 10:30 service after a break for Sunday School.
