Yesterday, Brother Shawn Baker Jr. (Spring β25) took the podium and directed the Woodwind Ensemble during the High School Concert, showcasing his leadership, musical excellence, and dedication to the art of performance. His hard work and passion were on full display as he guided the ensemble through an outstanding performance, continuing to make the Upsilon Epsilon Chapter proud. Yesterday, the YEques were proud to assist JERA Fitness Bootcamp by helping move and take down equipment following the event. Through service and teamwork, we were able to support a successful day focused on fitness, wellness, and community engagement. We appreciate the opportunity to serve and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact wherever needed.

Today, the energy was strong at the Briarwood 601 Weekend Unity 5K as the community came together to promote health, wellness, and unity. Events like these serve as a reminder that investing in our physical health strengthens our communities and inspires positive change.
Shoutout to Bro. Malik Alexander for representing THEE Mighty YE and finishing the 5K with an impressive time of 26:21, demonstrating dedication, discipline, and a commitment to healthy living.

Shoutout to Bro. Baker (6-25-YE) for representing excellence at the HBCU Band Camp Conference hosted at Jackson State University. Baker shared his personal journey through the Sonic Boom of the South, speaking on his upbringing in the program and offering valuable advice to high school students aspiring to become outstanding members of The Boom.
As we head into the Fall season, Baker will continue leading by example as the Assistant Section Leader of the Tuba Section, helping shape the next generation of Boom members.
