Charger Nation understood the assignment today! Our scholars stepped onto the Callaway carpet in their most creative, stylish, and show-stopping looks for our "MET GALA" themed Homecoming Day! From bold fashion statements to head-turning elegance, the hallways were filled with confidence and Charger pride.

We capped off the day with an extremely entertaining Talent Show, where our scholars took the stage and showcased their incredible gifts, creativity, and personality. The performances were the perfect finale to another unforgettable day of Homecoming Week!

The fashion was fierce. The talent was undeniable. The Charger spirit was unmatched!

Charger Nation, it’s time for the ultimate family reunion! Join us September 8–11 as we celebrate “One Block. One Family. One Tradition: The Reunion!”

🔥 Tuesday, September 8 — Reunion Time
Dress as your favorite family member from the Rich Auntie and Famous Uncle to the College Cousin or Family Photographer! Enjoy our photo booth and locker decorating.

🎤 Wednesday, September 9 — Talent Showcase/Met Gala
Come dressed to impress and showcase your talent! Singing, dancing, stepping, poetry, comedy, instrumental performances, and more! We will also feature teacher talent and Homecoming King and Queen campaign tables.

🍔 Thursday, September 10 — Charger Family Cookout & Field Day
Wear your Homecoming class shirt and enjoy games, music, food trucks, snow cones, face painting, dancing, grade tents, and plenty of Charger spirit!

🏈 Friday, September 11 — Homecoming Friday & Game Day
Wear your school reunion shirt as we meet the Homecoming Court, vote for our Homecoming King and Queen, support our football team, and show everyone what Charger Pride looks like!

For a limited time, every scholar who signs up for school based health care via Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health will receive a stadium ready clear bag and personal hand sanitizer.

Registered scholars may receive services including:

• Sick visits
• Annual well-child visits
• Sports physicals and health assessments
• Dental care
• Hearing and vision screenings
• Immunizations
• Developmental, behavioral, and depression screenings
• Health education and wellness support
• Referrals for behavioral and mental health, dental care, weight management, and other services.

🧡💙 CHARGER NATION SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT! 💙🧡

A huge shoutout to our entire Charger Nation Family for making the 2026 Meet the Chargers event a tremendous success! The energy, excitement, and overwhelming turnout made one thing clear: Callaway High School has the support of its community!

Community involvement is imperative to building and sustaining a successful school, and we are truly grateful to everyone who came out to support our scholars, programs, and school family.

A special shoutout to the North Jackson Elementary School and Kirksey Middle School cheer teams and scholars who joined the celebration and proudly shared in the Charger spirit at their future destination for Teaching and Learning! ⚡📚
