East Jackson juniors hit the road today for their Juniors Over the Local Circuit (JOLC) tour!

Students explored Jackson College, Spring Arbor University, Albion College, gaining a firsthand look at local college campuses and the opportunities available after high school.

We are proud to be a part of this countywide effort in supporting adult adults, age 21 and up and getting a certificate or college degree tuition free!

We are all working together towards a goal of 40% of our Jackson County residents having some type of post secondary credential by 2030!

Jackson County is launching a new campaign to help adult residents access tuition-free community college through Michigan Reconnect, a state program that covers costs for eligible Michigan residents age 21 and older.

Jackson County students and families — mark your calendars!

Northwest High School is hosting a FREE College Fair on Thursday, September 24 from 5:30–7:00 PM with more than 40 colleges, universities, and military branches in attendance.

Seniors can also join CCAC from 5:00–5:30 PM for a special senior year planning session.

October is Michigan College Month — and it’s a great time to get those college applications submitted! Many Michigan colleges and universities are offering application fee waiver codes throughout October, and some schools offer FREE applications all year long.

We’re proud and grateful to be part of 100 Women Who Care Jackson County — a group of incredible women coming together to make a meaningful difference for local nonprofits and our community.

Congratulations to our partner and colleague, Grow Jackson, on being selected as last night’s recipient! We’re so excited to see the impact this support will have on the important work they’re doing throughout Jackson County.

We love seeing the power of collaborative giving in action and encourage others to come out and be part of it! Join us at the next quarterly meeting and help continue supporting organizations making a difference right here in our community.
