Because of the exciting baby boom happening at Little Tree Huggers, we are expanding back to a Group Child Care Home this August and are looking for two caring, dependable part-time team members to join us beginning in August!

Position Details:
🍃 20–30 hours per week
🍃 Consistent, set weekly schedule
🍃 Dependable hours each week
🍃 Work in a Christian, child-led, nature-loving environment
🍃 Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children every day

Applicants must:
✔️ Love working with children
✔️ Be reliable and dependable
✔️ Be able to pass a comprehensive background check
✔️ Be able to complete fingerprinting requirements
✔️ Be willing to work as part of a team

Thanks to the current baby boom happening at Little Tree Huggers, we are excited to announce that we will be expanding back to a Group Child Care Home beginning in August!

We are now enrolling a limited number of full-time children.

At our Little Tree Huggers Farmstand, we’re growing more than just food—we’re growing capable, creative, and confident kids. 🌱

Our mission is to help children and families learn to choose fresh, natural foods over artificial options, while discovering where food truly comes from. Together, we plant, grow, harvest, and prepare real food, and care for our animals—especially our chickens—learning responsibility and respect along the way.

We also believe in the value of hard work and patience. The children help run our stand and save the money they earn toward meaningful goals. Right now, we will be working toward two more outdoor playhouses so we can bring “The Three Little Pigs” to life through play and imagination. A game the Littles created and LOVE to play, with the added twist of teaching the wolf to be kind and join their family. 

Each week, we will use our creativity and talents to make handmade crafts to sell, learning that we can turn ideas into something real and valuable.

Most of all, we’re learning to dream big, work for what we want, and take pride in what we create—together. 💚

You'd think after 15 years, this would get easier...

It's that bittersweet time of year where I accept the fact that the babies I have cared for, for years, will be graduating.

Over the next few weeks, I will begin enrolling for the full time fall openings.
