This summer, Jackson State University College of Business welcomed middle school students for an engaging and interactive Financial Wellness Summer Bootcamp! Students explored the fundamentals of personal finance, learning valuable skills in budgeting, saving, and investing that will help them build a strong financial foundation for the future.

Through hands-on activities and real-world discussions, participants gained the confidence to make smart financial decisions and develop healthy money habits at an early age. We are proud of each student who invested in their future and took the first steps toward financial empowerment.

Last week, the Jackson State University College of Business proudly hosted another successful Uncovering Possibilities of Accounting Careers (UPAC) Summer Program, welcoming an exceptional group of rising high school juniors and seniors from across the region.

Throughout the week, students immersed themselves in college life while exploring careers in accounting, finance, and business. Participants engaged in interactive workshops, professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences designed to prepare them for future academic and professional success.
