We are so excited about the upcoming 2026-27 school year!

We currently have waiting lists for all PreK classes. There is a waiting list for 2 year olds MWF and 5 days a week.

We have a few openings remaining in the 2 year old TTh class!

It's almost that time of year - First Presbyterian Playschool, Jackson registration time!

Playschool registration will begin on March 24 for returning students and FPC church members. They will begin enrolling new students on March 30 (so please let any friends or family know about this date.)

I tried to leave my house today and cannot get my vehicle out of my driveway. The sidewalk, parking lot and playground at school are still completely iced over and are not safe for driving or walking.

I have labored over making this decision, but school will be closed the remainder of this week (February 5&6). Surely the warmer temperatures this weekend will allow us to return on Monday.

Unfortunately, our driveways and parking lots remain heavily impacted by the ice. There will be no school tomorrow (February 4). Hopefully this rain will help to melt the ice and not refreeze. I will continue to evaluate day by day as to when we can safely return.

Playschool will be closed Monday and Tuesday (February 2 &3).

Playschool is closed the remainder of this week (January 28-30).
