Our team consists of talented individuals from all walks of life and with diverse backgrounds, who share common passions – preserving our natural resources & protecting public health. Staff educational degrees, vary from weed science to nursing, and from education to business. Our experienced staff participates in many regional and national professional organizations, to ensure that we are leaders in the invasive species and mosquito control industries. Our team values include innovation (embracing & driving change), providing superior service, professionalism, fiscal responsibility, stewardship, collaboration and safety.

As temperatures cool around the valley, many perennial plants are preparing for winter by moving nutrients down into their root systems. This can make fall an effective time to apply herbicides—before a hard frost causes plants to go dormant.

Habitat Heroes and the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation take on Crystal Butte - take two! 😎🌲

🥾 We’re running up for a second take at Crystal Butte to tackle musk thistle, bull thistle, houndstongue, spotted knapw**d, and Dalmatian toadflax. Come enjoy some of the best views in Jackson during this w**d pull while helping native vegetation re-establish and flourish! 🌿

📍 Crystal Butte Trailhead in the Bridger-Teton National Forest
(Meet at 8 am at Snow King parking lot to carpool and reduce vehicles at trailhead)

🍸 It may share a connection with the famous drink, but this pest is nothing to toast to! Absinth wormwood is a prolific seed producer, pushing out native plants around Teton. This means more room for w**ds, less food for local animals, and a big headache for everyone.

👀 🌿 Help us keep the Tetons absinthe free! Be on the lookout for gray-green, silky leaves, branched stems, small yellow flower heads, and a strong sage-like smell when crushed.

📍 If you spot it, take photos, mark the location, and contact TCWP for help with identification and next steps. Early detection keeps this wormwood from worming its way farther in.

Your dog probably has a job to do around your home. Maybe they’re a cuddle buddy, guard dog, furry doorbell, exercise buddy, accessibility partner, or, most importantly, your best friend. 🐾

But did you know dogs have jobs in national parks, too?

Here in Grand Teton, specially trained dogs work alongside park partners to help protect the places we love. This week, some talented pups are helping sniff out invasive plants, including salt cedar and perennial pepperw**d, along the Snake River corridor.

Their incredible noses can find plants people might otherwise miss, helping us protect native ecosystems.

A big thank you to and **dpest22 for bringing these four-legged conservationists to Grand Teton!

We call these unique dogs our bark rangers. 🐶🌿

Dogs aren't the only 4-legged friends making an impact in the fight against invasive species - our mule and horseback crews are on the trail! 🤠

🌿 Through the Jackson Hole W**d Management Association, these mule and horseback treatments help TCWP reach trails, slopes, and remote corners of Teton County where early detection and rapid response matter most. These horseback crews help us reach the trails, slopes, and remote areas where vehicles can’t go and backpack sprayers can only get so far.

We’re protecting Teton County’s wild places one trail at a time. 🐴
