Pre-K, Kindergarten, First and Second Field Day is Tuesday, April 26. Parent volunteers needed.

Jackson-Madison County Schools will be closed Friday, March 11. Please stay safe and use caution while driving.

Tomorrow, Friday, February 26, students and staff may wear a pink, red, white, purple or Valentine's shirt with jeans for a $1 donation to Relay For Life. Please wear a regular uniform if you do not bring your donation.

Our last Black History Program will be next Monday, February 29 at 6:30. Many thanks to Gertrude Copeland and her other helpers who have made this annual event such a wonderful tradition at Malesus.

Please help keep sickness from spreading to others. Remember to keep children home when running a fever. A good rule to follow is 24 hours fever free without fever reducing medicines. If in doubt, stay home.

Wash hands with warm water and soap. Follow up with hand sanitizer. Cough or sneeze into tissues or clothing which can be washed. If hands are used, wash immediately. Keep all fingers and hands away from eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.

Teachers are vigilantly keeping surfaces sprayed with disinfectants and wiped with cleansing wipes. Thanks to those of you who help keep us supplied with all the things that are needed to keep students healthy and learning.

Students may wear a red shirt with uniform pants tomorrow, Feb. 5th for National Wear Red Day in support of the American Heart Association. No jeans please.

Students of the month!

Students may wear a red or blue shirt with their uniform pants tomorrow, Friday, January 29. This will be our way to honor the memory of Noah Chamberlin and express our gratitude for our community.

No school Friday, Jan. 22. Please stay warm and safe. Bring pets inside and only travel if necessary. If you can, spend time reading a good book.
