Our 2026 class! They did it and they are ready! We will miss you guys!

Our very own ._.robertson was recognized at awards day chapel with a research excellence award for her work investigating a mutation in colorectal cancer! Additionally this Spring she was selected by the ACS for an exclusive poster presentation at their annual meeting. Sci-Mix is an interdivisional poster session and mixer that is held in-person. The poster session consists of abstracts selected by division program chairs and represents the most exceptional submissions accepted by the participating divisions. Congratulations Izzy!!

Last month at the national meeting of the American Chemical Society our had the honor of being awarded one more time. We are very proud of our students and their service.

Our department is very saddened to announce the passing of our beloved friend and professor, Dr. Jimmy Davis. We are grateful to the Lord for the many decades he dedicated to us and for the profound impact his teaching, research, and mentoring had on our program. He was a favorite among our students and a champion of the harmony between science and faith. He will be dearly missed, but we are thankful for the privilege of having him in our department. We are confident he is now in the presence of the Lord he loved, served, and preached. Please pray for his wife, Christine, and the rest of his family.
