Kirksey Middle School proudly celebrated its 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, recognizing the accomplishments, growth, and hard work of the Class of 2026.

The ceremony honored students for their dedication and perseverance as they completed an important chapter in their academic journey.

Families, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate this milestone and encouraged students as they prepare to begin high school. The event reflected the pride, support, and strong sense of community that continues to define Kirksey Middle School.

On April 28th we celebrated National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 🚌💙🧡

Rain or shine, early mornings and long afternoons our bus drivers show up every single day with one mission: to ensure our scholars get to and from school safely. Their patience, dedication, and care do not go unnoticed. They are often the first and last Kirksey smiles our students see each day, and they set the tone for a positive school experience.

Thank you for going the extra mile for our Colts and for keeping our students safe on every ride. We appreciate you more than words can express! 🧡💙

Behind every meal served is a group of dedicated heroes who show up early, work tirelessly, and make sure our scholars are nourished and ready to learn. Their dedication, perseverance, and determination to be a part of this prestigious event truly reflect their commitment to excellence. We are especially proud to share that Kirksey Middle School had the highest number of participants among the Middle School Network. An achievement that speaks volumes about the passion and hard work of our students.
