20+ years serving children with special needs through tuition-free, Christ centered early intervention.

Little Light House offers a tuition-free, Christian early intervention program for children with special needs for ages birth to six years consisting of intensive therapeutic care and cognitive remediation. Addressing a child’s physical ability, wellness, mind, and community, our year-round program promotes systematic, long-term, healthy change. A Bible-based curriculum specifically designed for c

hildren with special needs is the foundation for our classroom structure. Working alongside parents, our staff members develop individual education plans with measurable goals for each child. School sessions are held Monday through Thursday, from 8:30am to 1:30pm. It is not only children who are served by Little Light House. Support groups, seminars and practical training sessions are also provided for the families of our little ones, assisting them with the parenting and remediation of their children. More than an organization, Little Light House is a ministry.

Have you ever thought about volunteering at Harbor Day School?

We'd love to invite you to our Volunteer Welcome Breakfast on Thursday, September 24th, at 8:30 AM.

Whether you've been volunteering with us for years or you're simply curious about getting involved, this is a great chance to enjoy breakfast, spend time with our team and students, and learn more about what volunteering looks like. New volunteers will receive orientation, and returning volunteers can pick up their Harbor Day School volunteer t-shirt and reconnect before another great year.

We believe everyone has something to offer, and we'd love to help you find the place that's right for you.

Zoie’s journey has been filled with strength, faith, and so many unexpected blessings. Born with a rare chromosomal condition involving chromosomes 12 and 17, Zoie has faced challenges, but her diagnosis has never defined the beautiful little girl she is.

For Zoie’s family, every milestone is worth celebrating.

“Milestones don’t always happen the way we expect them to, but that doesn’t make them any less special. Every accomplishment, every new skill, every smile, and every bit of progress is something we celebrate.”

After years of advocating for Zoie, her family was blessed to become part of Harbor Day School, where she is understood, supported, loved, and celebrated.

When Taylor and Grant Burke learned their son Madden had Down syndrome, they were filled with questions about the future. What they couldn't have imagined was how profoundly he would change their hearts and the way they see the world.

Today, Madden's legacy lives on through the way his family serves, gives, and encourages others at Harbor Day School. Their story is a beautiful reminder that every child is worthy of love, celebration, and the opportunity to thrive.

We're so excited to share this year's Harbor Day School fall shirts, featuring a design that is especially meaningful. The pumpkins on the back were created using our students' fingerprints, making each shirt a celebration of the children who make Harbor so special. 🎃❤️
