We kicked off the new academic year with fellowship and celebration at our College of Nursing and Health Sciences Department Meeting! It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect as colleagues, celebrate the accomplishments of our faculty, and look forward to another great year of educating and preparing future healthcare professionals.

This week, we welcomed a new cohort of graduate nursing students to Union University! 🎉

On Monday, our future Family Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, and Nurse Educators officially began their journey toward advanced practice.

As they step into the didactic portion of their programs, we’re praying for wisdom, perseverance, and confidence in the months ahead. Before long, they’ll be learning through clinical experiences, simulations, and hands-on labs as they prepare to serve patients with excellence and compassion.

We’re honored to walk alongside these future nurse leaders and can’t wait to see how God uses them to make a difference in healthcare.

🎓 Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone! 🎉

Congratulations to our two outstanding BSN to DNP graduates with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) concentration! Over the past 3+ years, they have demonstrated unwavering dedication, resilience, and compassion while balancing rigorous coursework, extensive clinical training, and countless hours of hard work.

Their journey has prepared them to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals, families, and communities through exceptional psychiatric and mental health care. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and are honored to have been a part of their journey.
