The first Sunday after Labor Day, September 13, 2026 is a holiday, Grandparents Day, to recognize the gift of grandparents. So often, the weakest are neglected or worse when they are no longer of interest or “use.”
As persons made in the image and likeness of God, we possess an infinite dignity that can never be compromised by age or ability. This truth must guide each of us in our responsibility to lovingly accompany those who are in greater need of our time, care, and attention as they face their later years. If you are blessed with a living grandparent, do something special for them, especially if they live alone or in care homes! 💖

Friends, our Parent Store is in need of diapers size 4, 5, and 6. These diapers go to moms and dads in our community who faithfully participate in our Parenting Forward program. By providing a package (or two) of diapers you are helping support families right here in the Jackson community.

Center for Women is open Monday 10-7, and Wednesday through Friday 10-4. When you come, we'd love to give you a tour so you can see where your support is making a difference!

Pregnancy doesn’t always come at the right time or under the right circumstances. Sometimes it comes in the middle of fear, uncertainty, financial stress, abusive relationships, an unsafe home environment, addiction, or a future that suddenly looks nothing like the one she planned.

A woman facing that reality doesn’t need judgment. She needs real support. She needs people willing to remind her that her life matters, her circumstances matter, and the life growing inside of her matters, too.

Being pro-life should never mean ignoring the woman and only seeing the baby. But caring about women should never require us to pretend the baby isn’t there.

We are capable of caring about both.

That means doing more than telling a woman to choose life. It means being willing to help make life feel possible. Showing up with resources, practical help, parenting education, childcare, community support, ethical adoption education when needed, and assistance that continues long after her baby is born.

Compassion doesn’t have to choose sides here.

We can acknowledge how hard her circumstances may be without deciding that another life has to end because of them.

Love her. Support her. Protect life.

Her crisis deserves compassion.
Her baby deserves life.

We can fight for both. 🤍

The current medical protocols for mifepristone—which allow for virtual prescriptions, online ordering, and pharmacy pickup without an in-person doctor visit—raise significant concerns regarding patient safety. By removing standard oversight, we are putting women and girls at unnecessary risk. Furthermore, these remote access methods are being exploited by human traffickers and abusive partners who may force these drugs upon victims without their consent. Beyond these grave safety issues, the lack of accountability for a drug that destroys a human life is deeply concerning. When compared to the stringent regulations placed on other pharmaceuticals, it is difficult to see how these current policies prioritize the protection or empowerment of women.
