The reason you don’t want to say these things is that they’re empty, redundant, cliche or otherwise questionable. Invariably (indeed, it‘s accurate to say always), when I’m called upon to enhance a client’s existing resume, I end up correcting one or more of these ten things...
Ten Things Never, Ever To Say About Yourself
We have been taught to brag about ourselves in our professional branding, but that's terrible advice. The more illustrious a person is, the less likely they are to praise themselves. When someone is truly a guru, other people say "That person is a guru!" but the guru doesn't say it about thems

From a marketing/promotional standpoint, this is a counterintuitive post, I guess. But I put it up here as a part of my introduction to you all.

Someone who can clearly convey the essence, who can make it fascinating instead of merely "readable."
Since your resume is as close as you may come to genuine autobiography, it is in your best interest to let us work with you...
