An evening celebrating conservation, community, and the people who inspire us. 🌿

Yesterday, we gathered at the Murie Ranch for the Murie Spirit of Conservation Awards, honoring Nancy Shea, recipient of the Murie Spirit of Conservation Award, and Arthur Middleton, recipient of the Local Legends Award.

We are grateful for their dedication to conservation and for the work they continue to do on behalf of wild places, wildlife, and the communities connected to them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating, and to the incredible Teton Science Schools staff who helped bring such a special evening together. 💚

Here’s to carrying the spirit of conservation forward.

Still smiling about Old Bill’s Fun Run! ☀️

We had so much fun celebrating with our community at the Old Bill’s Fun Run earlier this month! From bubbles and solar viewing to seeing so many familiar and new faces, the day was full of fun and the best community spirit. 🔭🫧

We want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth, voted for our coffee names, or supported Teton Science Schools during the Old Bill’s giving period! 💚

We’re so grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for local organizations and the amazing work they do.

These adventurous 4th graders have some serious spotting skills! 👀🐾

During Weekends in the Park, our young explorers became wildlife detectives, searching the landscape for tracks and other clues left behind by their wild neighbors.

Along the way, they investigated track castings, pelts, and bones, played wildlife-themed games, and visited the National Elk Refuge to learn about the adaptations that help elk thrive. 🦌🌲

Join us for the Murie Ranch Art Festival, October 9–11, at the Murie Ranch in Grand Teton National Park!

Inspired by Olaus Murie’s legacy as a scientist and artist, this three-day celebration will explore the connections among art, nature, and conservation. Featured Artist in Residence Sarah Yeoman will share her watercolor practice through demonstrations, community painting, and time in the Murie Studio.

The weekend will also include:
- Artist-led workshops
- Nature writing with Jackson Hole Writers
- Mountain Academy student artwork
- Kids’ activities and nature-inspired art
- Local art and food vendors
- A closing community reception

General festival events are free and open to all. Artist-led workshops are $35 and include supplies and a festival T-shirt. Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged.
