Our very own director, Meghan Larsen, appeared as a guest on the podcast Classical Et Cetera to talk about the founding of our school!

Highlands Latin Jackson is an academic tutorial that meets 1-2x per week, with small classes led by knowledgable tutors. We are a classical Christian program that uses Memorial Press curriculum.

We have limited availability for the following grade levels:
🌿 1st grade
🌿 3rd and 4th grades (one or two day option)
🌿 5th and 6th grades (one or two day option)
🌿 9th-12th half day available for literature, composition, and science

Highlands Latin School Jackson We are a classical, Christian school in Michigan, enhancing the homeschool experience by offering a traditional academic classroom setting.

Students and staff celebrated the last day of classes with a field day competition. Congratulations to team Aphrodite for winning this year's Field Day!

Our 5th grade science class wrapped up a year of studying birds with a special visit from two members of the local Audubon Society. Students were able to hold several bird skull replicas, measure their arm span against the wingspan of the California Condor, and discuss several different local birds and the nests that they make.

SCIENCE | Our high school Biology class concluded their studies of animals and organ systems with a double dissection. They compared the anatomy of invertebrates and chordates by dissecting both a squid and frog. Our 5th grade History of Medicine class then compared the internal anatomy of the organisms to the internal anatomy of a model of a human being.

Enrollment is now open for NEW families for the 2025- 2026 school year. At Highlands Latin Jackson, we are partnering with parents to educate students to the highest standards of the classical tradition through a one day per-week traditional classroom experience.
