We have been given permission to post brief bios in hopes of finding host families for our international students! (We are still in need!)

E. (10th grade boy; China) will be returning for his second year at JCS. E. comes from a Christian family, and his grandfather is a pastor. He loves to read books about history and Harry Potter is one of his favorite series. He also really enjoys following and watching NASCAR and basketball. Other hobbies include playing the piano, guitar, basketball, and soccer.

K. (11th grade girl; Korea) will be returning for her second year at JCS. K. loves people and really enjoys staying busy and spending time with friends. She enjoyed her literature and art classes last year and also played basketball and soccer. She is also a HUGE baseball fan! In addition, she can make amazing Korean food!

God has been faithful to sustain our international student ministry for over 20 years. Throughout that time, countless students have been exposed to (and many transformed by) the gospel and saving power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Over the years, numerous families have opened their homes and hearts by extending hospitality to these students. Each year, God has provided the families and homes needed for each of our students. We believe He will continue to be faithful to do so. While it has proven to be much more challenging over the past few years to find homes for students, He has not failed us yet. We are trusting that He will once again provide for our international students that still need homes for the fall (arriving next month)!

• Would you be willing to prayerfully consider whether the Lord may be leading your family to open your home for a semester (or two!)? Or perhaps to serve as a Welcome Family or Respite Family?

• Finally, would you be willing to speak to your church/missions committee about this need? We have been working hard to establish partnerships with area churches over the past semester. Some have been incredibly responsive; others more hesitant.

We are still earnestly seeking and praying for host families for three international students this fall: a 7th grade Korean girl, 10th grade Chinese boy, and 11th grade Korean girl.
