This is a friendly reminder that Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Don’t forget to set your clocks forward one hour before going to bed on Saturday night! While we may lose an hour of sleep, we gain more daylight in the evenings.

📍Schools Closed Tuesday, January 21, 2025

Out of an abundance of caution due to extremely cold temperatures and potentially hazardous road conditions, all JPS schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. There will be no in-person or virtual learning. All JPS athletic events are also canceled for Tuesday, January 21st. This decision was made in consultation with the National Weather Service.

The Board of Trustees meeting will take place virtually at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, and will be streamed live on the JPS ITV YouTube page.
Community members must be present in-person in the Board room located at 621 South State Street to deliver public comments.

We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and provide updates regarding school operations for Wednesday, January 22.
