The right college should challenge you academically and help you grow beyond the classroom.
For David Olszewski, that means competing on the baseball field while also stepping into leadership roles across campus — from Greek Life and the Interfraternity Council to serving as a Presidential Ambassador and Orientation Leader.
With strong academics, supportive resources, and a close-knit community, Millsaps is a place where students can step outside their comfort zone and truly get involved.

At Millsaps, your interests don’t compete — they connect.
Shagun Singh’s AND: quantitative economics and leadership. While pursuing data-driven academics, Shagun also leads student organizations and plans cultural events that bring the campus community together.

☀️A look at this week’s Medical Readiness Initiative Session 1 ☀️
🩺From hands-on learning to a few selfies with Mr. Bones, students spent the week exploring healthcare, building skills and making the most of their summer on the Millsaps campus.🩻
⚕️They got to learn and practice suturing, how to take an EKG, art therapy, tooth molding, medication compounding and participated in an empathy lunch! These are just a few of the ways students got a firsthand look at the healthcare field.🥼
At Millsaps, learning goes beyond the classroom, and it’s a lot of fun along the way.

At Millsaps, students are encouraged to explore their passions and build meaningful connections across campus.
For Finn Barrios, that means pursuing psychology while staying deeply involved in music and campus life—as a Premier Scholar, Presidential Ambassador, Writing Center consultant, member of Phi Mu and performer with the Singers and Small Saxophone Ensemble.
From the moment Finn first visited campus during Scholars’ Weekend, it was clear that Millsaps was a place where people genuinely care about getting to know you and helping you grow.
It’s a community where students can pursue what matters most to them—while discovering new interests along the way.
