Town Hall Community Engagement Meeting
On July 20, 2024, AEL Brother David Peyton participated in a Town Hall Community Engagement Meeting sponsored jointly by the Bethel, Ebenezer, Lintonia, and Oak Grove A. M. E. Churches discussing strategies to encourage the community to vote in the upcoming election. The meeting took place at Oak Grove A. M. E. Church, Benton, MS. Brother Peyton had an opportunity to speak from a personal experience on the importance of voting and serving as a Yazoo County Supervisor. Other individuals also shared compelling thoughts on the importance of voting and how to help mobile the community for voting.

On July 14, 2024 AEL Brother Jerome Shelton was past was presented awards for assisting the Army and The Mississippi Health Department in the Jackson during the water crisis. He along with 3 other 172nd Air National Guard members worked with MEMA to distribute water and hand sanitizer throughout the city of Jackson.
