Microschool and tutoring scholars started their Academic Goal sheets on Thursday night. These Academic Goal sheets are tied to the scholars' Incentive List. We have some ambitious achievers this year! We do believe they will meet their goals. Stay along for the journey.

Our microschool division started strong this past Wednesday night class. We always start the year with an incentive list and a project based learning list. We view our list as an infinite list. As our scholars desire for learning and achieving goals never end.

This year our scholars have a strong desire to learn about history. Over the next few days we will near down the 5 Ws to create a guide for us to begin. A scholar even suggested a tour to the Two Mississippi Museums. As he had never been.

Magnolia Oak celebrates the smallest wins. With that being said, we all need a little motivation to get us to the finish line. Hence the creation of the Incentive List. The Incentive List is created every year by the scholars. The list include field trips, gift cards to their favorite restaurants, and age appropriate games and toys. This year our scholars added going to the movies.

Matt participated in Jxn Film Camp this summer. He was one of the videographers for a short film. He also starred in another short film.

Congratulations!

His participation in the film camp has inspired the microschool division to start a biweekly study into various careers.

My right hand young woman has leveled up to college life! We are so proud of you!
