I am now for scheduling Fall 2025 percussion or drums lessons! A few key notes:

-I teach virtual and in person, normally
Mondays but occasionally I make exceptions if possible.

-$40/hour or $25/half hour. (free lesson If semester paid up front). Billing is either semester up front or month to month paid in advance.

-drum set, traditional concert percussion, and hand drums (like djembe) are all options for focus of study.

-I am reasonable when it comes to cancellations and rescheduling as long as they are occasional. (Sometimes, not often, I will also need to cancel or reschedule because of my job, family issues that arise, etc).

I am taking students from age 12 to adults. Never too late to start!

Congrats to Justin Bruketta from Peabody HS Band! He is the first Sinclair Percussion Academy student to make All West TN Band! 2nd chair percussion in the 11-12 Red band! Way to go!

Sinclair Percussion Academy provides online lessons for all ages, adults included! It has worked well for two of my current students! Let me know if interested! Can start almost anytime.

I’ve enjoyed working with children who have autism. I never realized my consistent flow of students in public school band with autism would prepare me to work with other autistic children in private lessons.

As with any student, there are challenges. And as always, working to find solutions to the challenges is fascinating and satisfying in the long run.

Hello! I have 5 slots filled but I am opening another slot or two for private percussion/drums lessons on Mondays. I am currently free by 6:15.

Prices:

$40 for one hour
$30 for 45 minutes
$25 for 30 minutes

Testing out a new toy today! Meinl Snarecraft Cajon with walnut front plate. This was purchased through my church for use in worship, but loving it so far so might have to get one of my own at some point! Foot pedal and brushes to come in the mail soon!
