Every day in school matters, and consistent attendance plays a vital role in academic achievement, building positive relationships, and preparing scholars for future success. Please use this Blackburn Middle School Vacation Planner for the 2026–2027 school year to schedule family vacations, non-emergency appointments, and other planned absences during designated student holidays and school breaks whenever possible. 📢 ATTENTION PARENTS OF INCOMING 7TH GRADE SCHOLARS 📢

As you prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, please remember that Mississippi State Law requires all students entering 7th grade to have updated immunization records, including proof of the Tdap vaccine.

✅ A current Mississippi Form 121 must be submitted before your child can complete registration or attend school.

Please contact your child’s healthcare provider or local health department as soon as possible to ensure all immunizations are up to date.

Don’t wait until the last minute—take care of this requirement now to ensure a smooth start to the school year!

Parents and Guardians, it’s time to register your scholar for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year at Blackburn Middle School!

Early registration helps us prepare schedules, staffing, transportation, and student supports to ensure a smooth and successful start to the school year. We encourage all returning and new scholars to complete registration as soon as possible.
