Principal Payne is always resourceful. Here is helping out giving the students their lunch, while the Cafeteria Manager/Chef had to step away for some time. We are so grateful for our Principal.

Today was a fantastic Friday. To start with, some of the cheerleaders and some of the players on the football team of St. Joseph Catholic School visited us to greet our students when they were dropped off in the morning. Then at school Mass the boys were the leaders while the girls were the altar servers. And to top it all off, newly ordained Deacon Chris Halliwell served at Mass. A wonderful way to end the 2nd week of school.

Bishop Joseph R. Kopacz has shared a letter with the Catholic community outlining the next steps for Metro Jackson Catholic schools following a yearlong study and consultation process.

The letter announces plans for a new unified organization that will serve St. Joseph Catholic School, St. Richard Catholic School, St. Anthony Catholic School and Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School, with the goal of strengthening Catholic education for generations to come.
