At Music in the Parks:
🥇 7th/8th Grade Select Choir — Superior Rating & 1st Place (Junior High School Division)
🥇 8th Grade Band — Excellent Rating & 1st Place (Junior High School Concert Band)
🥈 7th Grade Band — Good Rating & 2nd Place (Middle School Concert Band)

After showcasing their talents and earning these incredible achievements, students also had the opportunity to celebrate with a day of fun and memories at Hersheypark! 🎢🍫

Our sixth graders had the exciting opportunity to visit the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria🎥🎉

Through this after-school partnership, students explored storytelling, filmmaking, and digital media production.

During their visit last week, students got to see their projects come to life on the big screen, showcasing their creativity, collaboration, and hard work. Thank you to the Museum of the Moving Image for providing such a meaningful and inspiring experience for our young creators!

Congratulations to Adilene, Solange, and Emilyn for representing I.S. 145 at the 2026 Queens Borough Arts Festival Performing Arts Showcase with their contemporary performance of "Willow"

Under the direction of Ms. Gryzik, these talented dancers have spent years developing their skills, building confidence, and growing as artists. Their dedication to dance was evident in every moment of their performance.

We are incredibly proud of these young performers and grateful to Ms. Gryzik for her commitment to nurturing student talent and creating opportunities for our Lions to shine beyond our school walls.
