✨ What a great way to wrap up Kids Club! This week, we learned how to build a healthy breakfast and celebrated the students graduating from the nutrition program we’ve been doing all summer. 🎉

A huge thank you to Zuleima, our nutrition instructor from Cornell Cooperative Extension, for teaching the kids healthy habits in such a fun and engaging way. We’re so proud of everything they learned this summer! 💙🍎🥣

Last week in Kids Club, we talked about making healthy choices and asked the question: Is fast food a good choice? 🍎🍔

We also said farewell to the amazing team from Resonate Church, who faithfully served alongside us all summer. In addition to helping with Kids Club each week, they helped us relaunch ESL Café in the Park and served our neighbors in so many other meaningful ways.

We are incredibly grateful for their partnership, their servant hearts, and the love they’ve shown our community. Thank you, Resonate Church! ❤️

Our SACC community had a wonderful day exploring the Empire State Building! 🏙️ Five students and four volunteer teachers joined the trip, including one new student who has been with us for just one week. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with students we haven’t seen in a while, build new friendships, and practice conversational English while enjoying one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks.

Our Summer Kids Club 🌴 is off to a fantastic start! We had a wonderful turnout during our first week where the kids learned their first nutrition lesson! Our guest instructor from Cornell Extension Program is back as our Nutrition Instructor for the kids! 🍎 🍊🥗
