One of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing the excitement on a student's face when they are able to learn a song they love. A few weeks ago a student told me he loved the music from Kung Fu Panda and then was thrilled to start playing the song. Even though the arrangement is challenging for the student, he is working incredibly hard to master the song he loves.
