Prophetic medicine is based on revelation and sound nature (fiṭrah).
• It aims at balance; physical, emotional, and spiritual

• It works best when combined with faith and dua

• True healing is from Allah alone, the remedies are only means

• Not every medicine mentioned by the Prophet ﷺ is suitable for every person at all times. The nature, time, climate, and constitution must be considered

What was the wisdom in the Prophet ﷺ being an ummi? Ibn Qayyim rahimahullah says the Prophet ﷺ being unlettered was among the signs of his truthfulness, and one of the greatest proofs that his message was from Allah.
For how could one who never read a book nor wrote a line bring forth such knowledge and wisdom which confounded the scholars and orators of mankind?”

When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came to Madinah, he found the Jews fasting on the 10th of Muharram in remembrance of Allah saving Prophet Musa عليه السلام and the Israelites from Firawn.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “We have more right to Musa than they do.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 4689)
