Hey, CCHS students! Are you interested in having honest conversations about the Bible with your peers? Two student-led Bible study groups are forming this year, studying the gospel of John! 📖

⏰When? These groups will meet once a week for about 6 weeks at a time, outside of school hours. Groups will begin meeting the first week of September. After the first 6 weeks, there will be a break for a couple of weeks before the next 6-week session. New participants can join at any time.

🏙️Where? The two groups are still finalizing the details of their meeting places.

🙋🏽‍♂️Who? Anyone who is sincere in their desire to learn more about Jesus and the Bible (whether you are Christian or not) is welcome to join! If groups grow beyond 8 or 9 students participating, they will split into multiple groups so that the conversations can remain personal and close-knit.

If you would like to learn more about these groups, please join us for our Bible Study Kick-off Party on Friday, August 28th afterschool on the Jacksboro side of CCHS! We will have games, popsicles, and information about how to join a group!

This year, we have started a new course offering at our CCHS campus called Biblical Worldview! This course covers topics about: the Bible’s trustworthiness and metanarrative, the Christian’s calling to evangelism and apologetics, Christian faith in a pluralistic and skeptical age, and biblical responses on the topics of science, evil, hell, violence, and gender.

We have a great group of upperclassmen returning to CLC to take this advanced course!
