PTA MEETING POSTPONED

Out of respect for the ongoing fires in our area, and most importantly for the safety of our families and community, we have made the decision to postpone tonight’s Jacksboro PTA meeting.

We will reschedule as soon as possible and share the new date and time with everyone.

Please stay safe, take care of your families, and keep our neighbors, first responders, and everyone affected by the fires in your thoughts and prayers.

BIG KAHUNA IS BLASTING OFF! AUGUST 31st

This year, we’re taking our Big Kahuna fundraiser to new heights by launching at BOTH JES & JMS! Our Pre-K through 6th grade Tigers will be selling items to help raise money that goes right back to their campus.

And there are some out-of-this-world prizes on the line!
👽 JES: Creature Teacher Party
🎮 JMS: Gaming Truck Party

As we launch, we ask everyone to keep an open mind and remember one important thing: what we raise is what each campus gets! More funds mean more opportunities, more extras, and more FUN for our kids throughout the year.

Watch for information coming home August 31st, get your online store set up, and help us make this fundraiser a BIG success!

Pictured are Jasmine Hamm of Jacksboro ISD Childcare in Jacksboro, and Machelle Mills of Machelle's Daycare in Bowie, who each won a Spotlight Moment Award of $250 for Q3 of 2026!

Workforce Solutions North Texas is investing $20,000 this year to directly support workers in the Child Care industry who demonstrate exceptional skills for quality child care.

Two infant to pre-K teachers are selected EACH QUARTER from across our 11 counties to receive a $250 award for demonstrating an exceptional understanding of the benefits of positive teacher-child interactions in the classroom.

30 additional teachers are selected EACH MONTH to receive a $50 award for actively demonstrating positive teacher-child interactions.
