Yesterday evening our officer team attended an event for the Chevron Ride for Agriculture service learning project they are participating in this year. We listened to key note speaker Pam Minick, who encouraged our students to just say Yes to opportunities when they are presented to them. As well as a panel of industry professionals within the agriculture and western lifestyle, who encouraged them to find their why and chase it. We then got to walk over to Dickeys arena and watch the PBR! It was a inspiring evening with an action packed night. Thank you to everyone who made it possible and to the Texas Rattlers for hosting us!

The State Fair of Texas is known for Big Tex, the midway and corn dogs. But to the Cantrell brothers it means getting back into the show ring with some new sheep projects for the 26-27 show season. Slaton walked away with a 7th place finish and a brand! We are proud of these brothers and all of their hard work. We are excited to see what the future holds for these two in the show ring this year.
