Carousel Farm - Programs for Exceptional People Summer Vocational and Recreational Program -- day camp Weekend trips are sponsored, throughout the year, to the Pocono Mountains.

Carousel Farm offers teenagers and young adults having special needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Challenges, Asperger's Syndrome) innovative programs to foster self esteem, support independence, and have fun! Friends have opportunities to share in meals, hikes, outdoor sports activities, movies, lots of camaraderie, and lots of fun!. This program is led and directed by teachers trained

in special education. The summer offers a day program held at Carousel Farm that provides both recreation and vocational experiences. The idyllic setting is a perfect environment for every friend – horseback riding, instructional & recreational swim, gardens, a petting zoo, sports fields and courts, music,art, opportunities to work on individual goals and embrace unique talents. Teens are provided opportunities throughout the day to participate in vocational experiences including serving food, cleaning and building maintenance on a farm, farm animal care, garden and grounds keeping, small office tasks, and apprenticing in child care.
