Dear Vista Families,
We wanted to update you on the status of Vista School and the widespread power outages in the greater Zion area.

Vista School has had its power restored since around 7PM. Our Chief Operations Officer, Troy Bradshaw, has been monitoring our AC units and power and all is functioning normally at this time.

Pending any changes, we plan to conduct normal school operations tomorrow. School will dismiss at 12:25 PM as usual for our Friday early release/professional preparations and learning time.

If anything changes, we will communicate before 7AM.

Meet Coach Josie Donahoo!

Raised in Iowa—where she played six high school sports—she found her love for activity. Coach Donahoo earned her B.A. in Physical Education and Coaching from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Science and Family Life. Fascinated by the connection between mind and body, she is passionate about helping students find joy in moving their bodies—there's something for everyone!

A few highlights:

Family: She and her husband, Drew (Vista's technology and 3D design teacher), moved here last year with their two sons.

Teaching Mottos: "Take care of your body and it will take care of you," "Work hard, play hard," and "Teamwork makes the dream work."

Mission: Helping students thrive in both their physical and academic literacy.
