BACK TO SCHOOL! We enjoyed our first day back at school today, with lots of fun activities both indoors and outdoors. We are ready for another spectacular school year at MARP! Welcome to our new students!

Our last week of Summer Camp was called "Spirit Week"; it was about our School's favorite book characters, our favorite wild animals, celebrating the 80's, and cultural day! We had plenty of fun! I think the kids enjoyed the 80's the most...and for the grown-ups, watching them try to figure out how to play a cassette tape in a Walkman was quite entertaining! After such a fun summer...we are now counting down the days to our First day back to school!!!!

"MARP Superstars" - Week 6 of our Summer Camp was about Community Workers... I am beyond proud of how well they played their role in this mini-movie! Enjoy the show!

"Dances Around the World". My students surprised me... I didn't expect them to learn those different dance moves so fast! We learned to dance the Irish Stepdance, the Hula, the Mexican Hat Dance, the American Square Dance, the Flamenco, the Chinese Dragon Dance, and so much more! They got skills!!!!

Week 4 of Summer Camp was about science! We had fun learning about mixing colors, experimenting with magnets, and making our volcanoes erupt!

Week 3 of Summer Camp was the children's favorite week so far! MARP's Little Chefs enjoyed cooking, preparing sandwiches, exploring new foods, and learning about fruits and veggies!

We kicked off our Summer Camp with awesome activities! Our first week theme was all about Sensory. We learned about different textures, such as smooth, fluffy, rough, gooey, and more! We had fun writing our names in shaving cream, making sculpture with Air-Dry Clay, using our fingers to paint, learning that ice melts faster with hot water...it was a lot of fun!
