It was National Pack Your Lunch Day today so we packed our own sack lunches. The kids thought it was so much fun. Next time we have sack lunches hopefully the weather cooperates and we can eat outside.

We started our March curriculum this week and our color of the month is Green. We wore green on Monday, have been eating green foods (green grapes, green beans, lettuce salad, peas, and we had some mini Shamrock cookies with sprinkles on them), and today we painted with green jello.

We finished off February with a book read total of 118. We are going to keep going and see if we can read 1000 books in a year. Our goal for February was 100 and we smashed that...so we will be having ice cream sundaes as a special treat.

We have talked twice recently about how seeds and different plants grow. This week we planted bean seeds. Fingers crossed they grow. I did this with a group in the past and we were pretty successful so fingers crossed we will be this time also. The kids have enjoyed checking for any changes.
