Did you know that Sam Rayburn ISD has several pages dedicated to different programs, organizations, and activities across our district?

While this main district page will continue to share district-related information, we encourage all Rebel families to like and follow the pages that match your family's current "Rebel season of life." Whether you have an elementary student interested in youth sports, a junior high or high school athlete or FFA member, or you're just looking to stay connected with PTO news, there's a page for you!

Pages marked with an asterisk (*) are volunteer-operated organizations. These groups were not created and are not managed by district staff. Instead, they are managed by volunteers who generously give their time to support our students, staff, and families by creating opportunities, organizing events, and investing in our Rebel community. We are grateful for their hard work and encourage you to support them by following their pages and getting involved when you can.

A social media account is not required to receive pertinent district information. Parent Square will continue to be the main source of information for families of our Rebel students and those accounts are created automatically during student registration/enrollment. However, these pages are a great way to receive extra shout outs on the great things happening in our district, to celebrate student accomplishments, and/or stay informed about upcoming events.

SR Elementary Parents!

It’s finally time! Is your child ready to find out who their homeroom teacher will be for our Rebel Super Hero school year? See Mrs. Laisy and Mrs. Rich’s video for instructions!

Be sure to make note that our main parking lot is closed for repairs, so the teacher reveal will be located near the playground at the back of the building. Use the bus loop for access.

School Board Election Notice:

Sam Rayburn ISD residents are encouraged to consider serving their community by running for a position on the Sam Rayburn ISD Board of Trustees.

Applications for a place on the ballot are now available in the Sam Rayburn ISD Business Office and will be accepted through the filing deadline of Monday, August 17, 2026. Applications must be picked up/turned in during the following business hours:
Through July 30: Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm
August 3-17: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Serving on the Board of Trustees is an important opportunity to help shape the future of our school, support student success, and represent the interests of our community.
