IES Staff honored the life of Mr. Van Roberts by wearing purple today.

Our 1st day is off to a great start and we are so glad to welcome our assistant principal, Mrs. Jill Daniel! She comes to IES with 25 years of classroom experience, ranging from 1st to 6th grades. She is married to Shelby Daniel and they have 2 sons, Mason and Sam.

Samuel Roll Form is doing a school supply giveaway on Monday, July 31st from 9:00-1:00 at the TCDF boardroom in Iuka. This is right beside El Picante.

Hey parents! Samuel Roll Form in Iuka will be doing a school supply giveaway on Monday July 31st from 9am until 1pm! This will be at the Tishomingo County Development Foundation boardroom right next to El Picante in Iuka! It’s a great way to get your students ready for an awesome school year! Can’t wait to see everyone next week! Great things are happening at Burnsville!

If your student is returning to IES, you only need the packet that will be given out at Open House. If your student is returning, you do not need to fill anything out at the school prior to Open House.

Online Meal Application is now open.

Did you know that free and reduced meal applications assist in so much more than just meals?
Additional benefits may include:
School Funding: Maintains funding for student programs and services.
Food Assistance: During the pandemic qualified households received PEBT benefits.
ACT/SAT Tests : Reduced registration fee for the ACT and SAT tests.
College Application Fees: Waived or discounted rate or on fees associated with applying for college (at select schools).

Tishomingo County Schools will sponsor a Summer Feeding Program from June 5-June 29th, 2023.

Summer sites include Belmont Elementary, Burnsville, and Iuka Middle School. Lunch meals will be provided Monday through Thursday from 11:00am until 12:30pm.

Congregate feeding only therefore meals must be consumed in the cafeteria.

Meals will be provided to children 0-18 years of age free of charge. Adults may purchase a lunch meal for $4.00.

Today, we honored two very special ladies as they begin a new chapter. It is with deepest appreciation that we thank them for their years of outstanding service to the schools and communities where they have taught. Congratulations!

Thanks to our awesome Iuka Elementary School PTA for celebrating our teachers and staff all month (and year) long! We have felt so loved!
