The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) will welcome community members of all ages to its annual CVM Open House on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a behind‑the‑scenes look at one of the nation’s premier veterinary institutions.

The family friendly event will showcase the breadth of veterinary medicine through hands‑on activities, live demonstrations, guided tours and interactive exhibits. Visitors can explore Cornell’s veterinary facilities, meet faculty, staff and veterinary students, and learn how veterinarians care for animals ranging from household pets to wildlife and farm animals.

Join the TCPL this coming Saturday for a special interactive science fair with Steminist Movement - Cornell that allows kids to conduct experiments, tackle creative challenges, and watch demos that connect science to everyday life. This month, we'll be learning about circuits in this hands-on workshop!

No registration is required. Just drop-in!

Apply for pre-K by April 1!

The ICSD Early Childhood Program is accepting applications for the 2026-27 school year. All applications must be submitted by April 1. Applications received after April 1 will be considered only if space remains.

Placement in the Universal Pre-K (UPK) program is determined annually through a random lottery, held during the second week of April.

Children who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2026, and who live within ICSD boundaries are eligible to apply.
