Resilient Ag in the Mohawk Valley Workshop 07/22/2026

Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Herkimer County is hosting a free Resilient Agriculture in the Mohawk Valley workshop on Wednesday, July 22 from 6-8 p.m. The workshop is open to residents of Herkimer, Schoharie, and Otsego counties.

This workshop will be led by Dr. Kitty O’Neil, CCE Harvest New York Agricultural Climate Resiliency Specialist. She is a member of our Cornell Climate Smart Farming Extension Team, and the Agriculture and Climate Change Program Work Team. She aims to improve productivity and resiliency with smart farm and business management that is attentive to climate-related risks in agriculture.

The workshop is designed to help gardeners and farmers thrive by utilizing planning and management strategies that address climate-related challenges, plant health, and long-term soil health. 🌾🌦️
